Because your shoes need a theme song.

Quote:
“Music is life itself.” – Louis Armstrong
Shoes (esp sneakers) have been a huge part of my life since I was a teenager. Whenever I found the perfect pair of sneakers, or that killer outfit to go with that perfect pair of sneakers – a song starts playing in my head.
Pairing sneakers and songs together enhance the emotional connection between things. (Similar to a wine and cheese pairing, or Wine and Chocolate, Wine with anything but that is for another blog (tehe). The connection is no different when it comes to sneakers and music.
Music and Sneaker Culture
Sneaker culture and Music are in a Long term relationship. I believe this started in 1986 with song called My Adidas by Run DMC. According to a Forbes article written in 2018, It all started with Reebok and Jay-Z in 2003. The collaborations and ‘shoe’ deals have only grown since then.
